that makes me a happy, happy girl. last year, a few days after beaujolais day, i brought jj with me to whole foods, bought a few bottles, got some pure luck chevre and bread, and we watched the sun set on the roof of the store while eating that bread and cheese and drinking that wine. i big fat plan on doing that again this year. i know my love for beaujolais is a bit silly since i know better wines exist, and i know that france basically invented this "reveal" day so they could export their crappy wine to us americans and make us think we're getting something awesome, but i don't care. it was my starter wine (and come to find out, my aunt cheryl's, too), so it will always be wonderful to me.
also: ran into this guy while at town lake. interesting man. interesting concept.
