i love this picture. i remember we did a unit about japan in third grade, and we learned how to make paper cranes. it was hard, but i also remember really wanting to learn how after reading the book sadako and the 1000 paper cranes.
i plan on teaching my third graders how to make cranes on monday, and hopefully i can get some good pictures of them creating and the end result to share with everyone.
