SB in the VI

so, our spring break was pretty fantastic. i'm going to keep the summary short:
it took us three different flights and all day on monday to get there. we found out once we got there that we had been upgraded to a villa, which was awesome, but it was a big tease because our second room by the pool was way less awesome and way more loud (thanks, obnoxious children). we explored lots of beaches, read our books, went hiking, and had no choice but to spend way too much money on our meals. nothing on the island was cheap, and most of it wasn't worth what we paid (hello, $20 salad made with shredded iceberg lettuce - so ghetto!). my favorite meal came from the hotel when we got room service (!) for dinner: we sat outside on our porch, i wore a westin robe, and we drank wine from plastic cups. classy.  the best part of our trip was going on a chartered boat to some different parts of the islands, the coolest one being the baths at virgin gorda. there were all these amazing boulders around the beach, and it was fun climbing up and through them to get to devil's bay. our trip back home took just as long with just as many flights, but we made it, tired and sunburned, back to houston in one piece. i also got to meet the rest of jj's family, and i really enjoyed spending time with them on sunday. now, some pictures:
